Multi-copter built using kits are allowed, however readymade drones are not allowed. Metallic propellers are strictly restricted.
The dimensions of the drone should be such that it fits inside a 1x1 meter start zone and the weight of drone must not exceed 2 kilograms i.e., the quad-copter inclusive of the batteries, motor, motor control, etc. .
The multi-copter need not be automated.
The radio transmitter and receivers used should not cause interference to the other multi-copters. (DSSS 2.4 GHz transmitter or higher technology is strongly recommended).
The multi-copter should not be piloted over 3 meters in height during the competition.
