Alma Fiesta is the annual Socio-Cultural fest of IIT Bhubaneswar, heralded as the ‘Biggest Debutant fest of India’ by The Telegraph in its maiden year 2010. Alma Fiesta has grown to become a beacon of culture and social change. With 150+ colleges, 20,000+ footfall, shimmering stars of ‘INDIAN OCEAN’, ‘AGNEE’ and ‘GAJENDRA VERMA’, Alma has made a mark unprecedented and unachievable by its contemporaries.
An epitome of celebration, Alma Fiesta organises events of dance, music, dramatics and fine arts, workshops like Salsa, Android App development, Self-defence, Paper quilling, Clay modelling and Cyber Crusades and many more.

Alma Fiesta organizes three mega starnites, one on each of the three evenings of the fest. The three shows include : Leela Leela is the Indian Classical Music/Dance show. It celebrates the rich cultural heritage of our nation. It is an event known for its aesthetic event. Head Bang Headbang is the heavy-metal starnite. Lamhe Lamhe is the Bollywood musical night of Alma. It is the show-stopper of Alma Fiesta. Usually enjoying the highest footfall among all the events in Alma Fiesta, it has played host to a lot of bands popular with the youth of India. The man behind the voice that rules the hearts of youngistaan, is all set to rock the city of Bhubaneswar with his aura. Team Alma 2016, proudly presents NIKHIL D'SOUZA at the third starnight LAMHE.
