About Event

SAEINDIA NIT Kurukshetra Collegiate Club presents the most awaited AUTOMOTIVE workshop of North India- AUTOKRITI 7.0.

"AUTOKRITI 7.0 A Petrol v/s Diesel Car Overhaul Workshop" is a National Workshop organised by SAEINDIA NIT Kurukshetra Collegiate Club, the NIT Kurushetra Chapter of Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). It is the same Club that umbrellas the Team NITROX, the team that crushed all other NITs, IITs, BITS Pilani, DTU and other leading Engineering colleges of India in SAE BAJA 2015 and secured an adorable ALL INDIA 7th RANK out of 320 teams in a CUT THROAT COMPETITION, Team Accelerons And Team Ibrido
It is a chance for you to learn from the CHAMPIONS!
A unique workshop where you will be allowed to disassemble, study and assemble car components WITH YOUR OWN HANDS. An experience which no book can teach and no lab can give.

Events

AUTOKRITI 7.0 Workshop include :
1. EXPERT LECTURE(1st DAY) : Expert from the automotive industry will take theoretical sessions on automotive science. Topics to be covered-
basic automotive concepts, various departments of an automobile, advanced technologies used in automobiles.

2. PRACTICAL SESSION (2nd& 3rd DAY): This session will include:

>> First day of practical session comprises of complete overhauling of Tata Nano (Petrol engine) & Tata Indica(Diesel engine), and along with that the complete Overhaul of Automatic Transmission an advancement over manual transmission and is now being widely used in day to day commercial cars.

>>On second day of practical session an in depth functioning and working of suspension, steering and braking systems of the vehicle will be taught to the students.

>>Tool kits will be provided on the floor area and the participants will be able to clear their doubts from the personnel presentation.

FOR ELECTRONICS AND COMPUTER STUDENTS:
>> Practical Sessions for Electronics students, with focus on electronics of automobiles. Electronic Expert from industry on floor.

Accommodation and meals for all the participants in the campus with exatra charges of Rs.400

How to reach NIT Kurukshetra

Take any auto-rickshaw from Peepli/Railway Station for 3rd Gate of Kurukshetra University-Rs.25. From there, rickshaw for NIT.
If coming in group, take direct auto-rickshaw for NIT Campus.
