IIIT-Bh Feels Honoured To Organise The Maiden Session Of Our Model United Nations, The First Model United Nations Conference To Be Organised By An Engineering College In Odisha From The 12th To 14th Of April This Year. IIIT MUN Is Organized In Collaboration With The United Nations Information Centre For India And Bhutan And The Ultimate Aim Of Giving Debating A Cult Status In The State Of Odisha. Besides Inspiring Students From Schools As Well As Graduate And Undergraduate Level Colleges To Debate On Important Issues Of India And The World, This Is Also An Ambitious Venture To Provide A National Platform To The Orators Of Odisha To Exhibit Their True Potential. At IIIT MUN, There Is A Secretariat, Headed By A Secretary General And An Executive Board Who Shall Oversee Debate. Adhering To Strict United Nations Hierarchical Structure, All Members Of Media Are Headed By A Director Of International Press Who Will Supervise World Press, And All Under Secretary Generals Are Supervised By A Director General, Within The Secretariat. International Press Delegation Comprises Of A Team Of Around 20 Journalists And Photographers Selected After Diligent Research And Training By The IIIT MUN Secretariat, And The Executive Board Comprises Of Experienced Muners. IIIT MUN Looks Forward To An Exuberant Conference With A Very High Quality Of Debate. The Following Committees Will Be Simulated And The Agendas Are: 1.General Assembly-Legal Committee -Question Of Prosecution Of Juvenile Unlawful Convicts. 2.United Nations Human Rights Council -Strengthening The Humanitarian Assistance In Internal Conflict Areas. -Eliminating Human Trafficking. 3.Indian Cabinet -Ensuring Protection And Security Of Women In The Current Scenario.
