Jamia Millia Islamia Is One Of The Foremost Universities In India. Originally Established At Aligarh In United Provinces, India In 1920, Jamia Millia Islamia Became A Central University By An Act Of The Indian Parliament In 1988. Today, It Provides Education To Over 20,000 Students. Over The Past Few Years, Jamia Millia Islamia Has Hosted Several Hundred Events. They Were Mostly Distributed Under The Various Faculties, Departments, Societies, Clubs, Etc. For The First Time, The Students Council Of Faculty Of Engineering & Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia Has Taken An Initiative To Muster All Of The Above Towards An International Festival Which Has Been Named 'Tangelo - Town'. This Festival Will Be A Combined Cultural, Technical, Sports, Literary And Arts Festival. Spread Over A Span Of 3 Days Between 18 And 20 January, 2013, It Shall Recieve A Footfall Of Over 45,000.
