How to reach Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore

CIT is located on the Avinashi road 2 km to the east of Coimbatore Airport. By bus Public transport buses operate directly from prominent junctions like Ukkadam, Gandhipuram, Railway junction and Singanallur to CIT. The journey would take about half an hour to reach CIT. Driving yourself CIT can be reached by proceeding towards the Coimbatore Airport down the Avinashi Road of Coimbatore. It is a 25 minute drive from Gandhipuram or the Uppilipalayam junction near the Railway junction. By train The Avinashi road can be reached by proceeding 1 km to the West of the Central Railway junction of Coimbatore via the Police Commisioner's Office at the Uppilipalayam junction. By traveling south for a distance 8 km, CIT can be reached. By air CIT is 2 km to the east of Coimbatore Domestic Airport and directly accessible by road from the airport exit.
