Short Film Competition

“Technology for a Better Tomorrow”

📜 Rules & Regulations

1. 👥 Team Size
Each team must consist of 4 students.

2. 🎥 Originality
The short film must be original and created entirely by the participating students.

3. 🎭 Student Participation
Students may take up roles such as acting, direction, cinematography, editing, and production.

4. 🌐 Theme
The film must be based on or clearly connected to the given theme: “Technology for a Better Tomorrow.”

5. 📱 Equipment
Mobile phones or cameras may be used for shooting the film.

6. ⏱️ Duration
The film must not exceed 5 minutes.

7. 🎵 Audio & Media
Only original or copyright-free music, images, and video clips may be used.

8. 🚫 Content Restrictions
Offensive, obscene, discriminatory, or politically sensitive content is strictly prohibited.

9. 🤖 AI & Animation
AI-generated content and fully animated films are not allowed. The film must be based on real, student-created video footage.

10. ❌ Previous Work
Films that have been previously published or submitted to another competition are not eligible.

11. 📥 Video Submission
All participating teams must submit their final short film in MP4 format to gvgsynova@gmail.com on or before September 21, 2026.

12. 📁 File Naming
The video file must be named in the following format:
CollegeName_TeamName_FilmTitle.mp4

13. ⚠️ Submission Responsibility
Teams must ensure that the submitted video is accessible and plays properly. Videos submitted after the deadline or in an inaccessible format may not be considered for screening.

14. 🖥️ Screening
The submitted films will be screened during the competition according to the schedule decided by the event coordinators.

15. ⚠️ Technical Responsibility
Teams are responsible for ensuring that their submitted video meets the required format, duration, and quality before submission. No changes or replacements will be permitted after the submission.

16. 🏆 Decision
The judges’ decision will be final and binding.
