The Department of Computer Science and Engineering (Emerging Technologies), Faculty of Engineering and Technology, SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Ramapuram Part Campus, Vadapalani, Chennai – 600026, is organizing an AICTE–VAANI (2026–2027) Sponsored Three-Day Workshop under the initiative “Vibrant Advocacy for Advancement and Nurturing of Indian Languages (VAANI)”.

The workshop, titled “Advanced Cyber-Physical Systems and Intelligent Cybersecurity: Secure, Resilient, and Trustworthy Smart Infrastructure,” will be conducted in Tamil Language from 21–23 September 2026 in offline mode.

About the Workshop

Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) are becoming the foundation of modern smart infrastructure by integrating computing, communication, sensing, control, Internet of Things (IoT), edge computing, cloud platforms, artificial intelligence, and physical processes. As these systems become increasingly interconnected, ensuring their security, resilience, privacy, reliability, and trustworthiness has become a major technological challenge.

This three-day workshop is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of Cyber-Physical Systems and intelligent cybersecurity, with particular emphasis on securing critical and smart infrastructure. The programme brings together experts from academia and industry to discuss emerging technologies, cybersecurity challenges, practical security mechanisms, current research directions, and real-world applications.

A distinctive feature of the programme is that the technical sessions will be delivered in Tamil, supporting the objectives of the AICTE–VAANI initiative by promoting access to advanced technical knowledge through Indian languages.
