About Event

HACKNOVA'26 is a premier State Level Hackathon organized by the RIT IEEE Student Branch in association with the IEEE Computational Intelligence Society (CIS), IEEE Electron Devices Society (EDS), and IEEE Computer Society (CS). With the theme "From Ideas to Impact: Smart Cities Revolution," the event is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 11 – Sustainable Cities and Communities. HACKNOVA'26 brings together passionate student innovators to design and develop technology-driven solutions for real-world urban challenges. The hackathon promotes innovation, collaboration, creativity, and technical excellence while providing participants with an opportunity to showcase their skills, network with experts, and create sustainable solutions that contribute to building smarter, safer, and more inclusive cities.
