About Event

NirmanCAD – A Make-in-India Hackathon is an exciting design challenge organized by the Department of Mechanical Engineering and the Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE) at Shree Venkateshwara Hi‑Tech Engineering College. The event brings together creative engineering minds to design innovative and practical mechanical solutions using CAD tools.

Participants will work in teams to develop cost-effective and impactful designs addressing real-world challenges. The hackathon focuses on innovation aligned with the Make-in-India vision, encouraging students to build solutions that can benefit society and industry.

🔧 Challenge Tracks

Participants can design solutions in areas such as:

Low-cost assistive devices for elderly people or children

Affordable farm tools suitable for Indian agriculture

Innovative mechanical systems to reduce power consumption

Cost-effective safety systems for hazardous material handling

👨‍🎓 Eligibility

Open to B.E. Engineering students from all departments

All years (I, II, III, IV) are eligible

Team size: Maximum 4 members

🏆 Prizes

1st Prize: ₹12,000 + Certificate

2nd Prize: ₹8,000 + Certificate

3rd Prize: ₹5,000 + Certificate
