About Event

A Code in the Dark event is a coding competition that tests participants’ observation and memory skills along with their programming ability. In this event, participants are shown a fully designed website for a limited amount of time and it must be recreated from memory.
The goal is to replicate the layout, structure, styling, and overall design as accurately as possible without looking back at the original. This event encourages attention to detail, strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and front-end concepts, and the ability to translate visual information into working code under time constraints.
