About Event

AAVISHKAR’26 is a national-level technical symposium organized by the Department of Chemical Engineering, Coimbatore Institute of Technology. The event provides a common platform for students, researchers, and industry professionals to exchange ideas, explore emerging technologies, and showcase innovations through technical sessions, competitions, workshops, and expert talks.
The symposium aims to encourage creative problem-solving and inspire young engineers to address real-world challenges in chemical engineering and related fields.

How to reach Coimbatore Institute of Technology, Coimbatore

By Air
The nearest airport is Coimbatore International Airport, located approximately 3 km from the campus.
From the airport, the college can be reached within 10 minutes by taxi, auto-rickshaw, or app-based cab services.

By Bus
Coimbatore has excellent bus connectivity from all major cities.
From Gandhipuram Bus Stand or Ukkadam Bus Stand, take buses heading towards Avinashi / Airport and get down at CIT College Bus Stop.
Local town buses and share autos are available at regular intervals.

By Train
The nearest major railway station is Coimbatore Junction (CBE), about 12 km from CIT.
From the railway station, frequent buses, auto-rickshaws, and taxis are available to reach Avinashi Road and the college campus.

By Road
CIT is situated on Avinashi Road (NH 544), one of the main arterial roads of Coimbatore.
The campus is easily accessible from all parts of the city by private vehicles, taxis, and public transport.
