The Vidyutrenz GenAI Workshop is a hands-on Generative AI learning experience designed to prepare students for an AI-powered future. This workshop goes beyond basic chatbot usage and introduces participants to real-world AI systems, AI architectures, and AI-driven workflows that are shaping modern engineering, research, and industry.

Generative AI is transforming fields such as engineering, finance, medicine, creative arts, game development, and scientific research. This session demonstrates how AI supports design optimization, medical image analysis, intelligent game systems, visual effects, software development, music creation, and automation, enabling students to understand practical, real-world applications instead of just theoretical concepts
Participants will explore the core engine of AI systems, including how modern models work through transformers, attention mechanisms, token prediction, embeddings, and optimization layers. The workshop also introduces next-generation AI architectures such as Mamba and RWKV, which are redefining efficiency and scalability in AI systems for complex tasks and long-sequence processing

Students will gain exposure to agentic systems and autonomous AI reasoning, learning how AI agents plan, execute tasks, debug code, and operate in multi-step workflows. The workshop also covers multimodal AI systems, explaining how modern models process text, images, video, and audio together using shared representations and cross-modal intelligence
Through live demonstrations, participants will see how AI moves from lab research to real-world production, including applications in autonomous software engineering, AI-generated design, predictive simulations, smart infrastructure, and scalable innovation systems

This workshop provides guided exposure to frontier AI systems and models such as GPT-4o, Claude 3.5 Sonnet, Llama 3.1, and Mistral AI, helping students understand how these technologies are applied in complex problem-solving, automated workflows, and scalable AI solutions
