About Event

The Faculty Development Program (FDP) on “Artificial Intelligence in VLSI Design” aims to provide in-depth exposure to the emerging integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) techniques in the field of Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) design and automation. The program focuses on bridging the gap between conventional electronic design methodologies and modern AI-driven approaches that enhance design efficiency, performance, and reliability.

Participants will gain insights into how AI can be leveraged for circuit design optimization, fault detection, power management, and design space exploration. The FDP will include expert lectures, hands-on sessions, and case studies covering topics such as AI-assisted Electronic Design Automation (EDA), predictive modelling for IC design, neuromorphic computing, and hardware accelerators for AI applications.
