About Event

Women’s rights education and training comprise all educational, informational, and awareness-raising activities aimed at promoting the recognition, respect, and realization of women’s human rights and fundamental freedoms. These efforts are critical in addressing and eliminating gender-based discrimination, inequality, and violence, while fostering a culture of dignity, equality, and empowerment for all women and girls. The primary objective of a women’s rights programme is to protect women from injustice and harmful practices rooted in gender inequality. A second key goal is to develop a strong sense of self-respect and agency among women, empowering them to actively participate in decision-making and societal development. The third objective is to affirm and promote the inherent dignity and value of every woman, regardless of her background, identity, or status.
