SAI TechGrail is a thrilling blend of coding, strategy, and sustainability. Teams spin for SDGs, tackle coding challenges to earn chances, and present innovative solutions aligned with global goals. Each SDG collected boosts their streak, driving them closer to mastering all 17 and claiming the title of ultimate changemakers.

• Each team has 4 members.
• During registration, teams select 3 SDG goals (Primary, Secondary, and Tertiary) associated with their project.
• Round 2 shortlisted teams have to pay ₹350 as entry fee.
Event Zones
1. SDG Spin Wheel Zone
• The Team Lead is blindfolded and takes the first spin (free).
• If the spin lands on any one of their 3 chosen SDGs, their SDG Streak begins.
• They receive a Green SDG Card with that SDG number.
• If the spin does not land on one of their chosen goals, the team must proceed to the Coding Arena before attempting another spin.
2. Coding Arena
• Teams solve a coding challenge (difficulty scales per round).
• The submission is evaluated by organizers.
• If all test cases pass → the team earns a Yellow SDG Card.
• The Yellow Card can be exchanged for another spin attempt at the SDG Spin Wheel Zone.
• This process continues until they unlock one of their chosen SDGs and their streak officially starts.
3. Presentation Zone
Teams present their projects to the jury in two rounds:
a. Abstract Round – Present problem statement, SDG relevance, and proposed solution.
b. Prototype Round – Demonstrate working model/prototype with real-world applicability.
SDG Streak & Card Collection:
• Once the SDG Streak starts, teams aim to collect all 17 SDG Green Cards.
• For every new spin attempt (after the first), teams must complete another coding challenge.
• More SDGs collected = More points + higher ranking advantage.
Scoring & Evaluation:
1. SDG Green Card Collection – Points awarded per unique SDG collected.
2. Project Presentation – Scored on impact, innovation, and feasibility aligned with SDGs.
3. Final Bonus – Teams completing all 17 SDGs gain a streak boost applied to final rankings.
