Team Formation

Teams can consist of 1 to 3 members.
Each team must designate a Team Leader to serve as the primary contact.
Team composition must remain the same throughout the event; no replacements are allowed.

Event Format & Process

  • Participants will submit and present sustainability-focused innovations aligned with UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
  • Evaluation will be based on creativity, feasibility, technical execution, impact, and presentation.
  • The number of evaluation rounds will be announced during the inauguration.

Project Guidelines

Original Work: All projects must be conceptualized and prepared by the team. Plagiarism or direct copying will result in disqualification.
Resources Allowed: Publicly available datasets, APIs, frameworks, and research references may be used.
AI Usage: AI tools may assist in research or idea validation, but projects must not rely solely on AI-generated content.
Ownership: The work must belong to the presenting team. Proper credit must be given for any third-party resources.

Hardware & Software Requirements

  • Hardware Projects: Teams must bring all required components. Organizers will not provide kits/tools.
  • Software Projects: Participants may use any programming languages, tools, or platforms. Pre-built templates are not allowed.

Code / Prototype Submission

  • For digital/software prototypes, teams must maintain a GitHub/Drive repository to share progress with judges.
  • Final submission links must be shared before evaluation.

General Guidelines

  • All participants must carry college ID cards for verification.
  • Event ID cards must be worn throughout the event.
  • Misconduct, damage to property, or violation of rules will lead to disqualification.
  • Use of unwanted substances (alcohol, drugs, etc.) is strictly prohibited.
  • Jury decisions will be final and binding.

Judging Criteria

Projects will be evaluated based on:

  • Innovation & Uniqueness
  • Alignment with SDGs
  • Technical Feasibility

  • Presentation & Communication Skills
  • Scalability of the Solution

Presentation

  • Teams must present their solution to the judging panel.
  • The presentation should highlight problem statement, solution approach, sustainability impact, and future scope.
  • Projects that are simplistic or mere modifications of existing solutions will not be accepted.

Internet & Facilities

  • Participants are encouraged to bring personal dongles as backup.
  • Basic infrastructure support (WiFi, seating, power supply) will be provided.

Code of Conduct

  • Respect, inclusivity, and professionalism are mandatory.
  • Any harassment, discrimination, or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate disqualification.
  • Teams must maintain a collaborative and positive environment.

Penalties

Violation of any rule will result in strict actions, including disqualification, and official communication will be sent to the respective college administration.
