About Event

This workshop aims at introducing the basics, instrumentation, and applications of electron microscopy techniques such as Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and Transmission Electron Microscopy (TEM) through lecture and demonstration. The participants will have both a basic understanding and demonstration of FESEM and HRTEM techniques. Overall, this workshop will provide a great opportunity for all the participants to understand the fundamentals and applications of electron microscopy techniques (SEM and TEM) for the morphological, structural, and compositional analysis of bulk microcrystalline / nanocrystalline and thin film materials.
