• Servomotors are high torque and power density motors that are well suited for machine tools and robotic applications due to its robust nature and ability to handle higher accuracy in motion control.
• Proper sizing of servomotor, optimizing electromagnetics, selection of electric steel grade materials are crucial for different industrial applications
• Sensorless flux control and field oriented control algorithms are used in servo amplifiers for precise control and torque optimization.
• This workshop focuses servo motor analytical design, selection of materials, finite element analysis and optimization using motor design software.
• Participants will gain extensive hands on experience in various control algorithms of servo motor control topologies by participating in computer based laboratory exercises using HIL.
