About Event

The proposed three days workshop comprises lectures followed by demonstrations and hands-on sessions. The workshop also covers essentials of machine learning, deep learning algorithms and frameworks as well as the other models that can be applied to solve research problems in digital forensics using biometrics and EEG. A fundamental verification process known as biometrics uses a person's physiological and behavioural characteristics to identify them. These biometric extensions can be quickly seen in a variety of forensic identification contexts, such as face, fingerprint, iris, EEG, voice, handwriting, gait, DNA, etc. To improve identification performance requirements, multimodal biometrics enables the combination of two or more biometric recognition and verification systems. A wide range of applications for physical and cybercrime detection are now possible because of the development in forensic biometrics. As a result, due to their direct impact on resolving several societal issues as well as their status as the most active research topics, forensics and biometrics are both regarded as emerging technologies. Electroencephalogram (EEG)-based biometrics have attracted increasing attention in recent years. EEG offers advantages including robustness against attacks, continuous identification capability, intrinsic liveness detection, and universality. Various Deep learning Architectures are embedded in this workshop to built new frameworks.
