SUMMARY:3 Days Workshop on An insight into Biometrics along with EEG for Di
gital Forensics using Machine Learning and Deep Learning 2023
LOCATION:Dr Mahalingam College of Engineering and Technology\, Pollachi
DESCRIPTION:
The proposed three days workshop comprises lectures followed
by demonstrations and hands-on sessions. The workshop also covers essenti
als of machine learning\, deep learning algorithms and frameworks as well
as the other models that can be applied to solve research problems in digi
tal forensics using biometrics and EEG. A fundamental verification process
known as biometrics uses a person's physiological and behavioural charact
eristics to identify them. These biometric extensions can be quickly seen
in a variety of forensic identification contexts\, such as face\, fingerpr
int\, iris\, EEG\, voice\, handwriting\, gait\, DNA\, etc. To improve iden
tification performance requirements\, multimodal biometrics enables the co
mbination of two or more biometric recognition and verification systems. A
wide range of applications for physical and cybercrime detection are now
possible because of the development in forensic biometrics. As a result\,
due to their direct impact on resolving several societal issues as well as
their status as the most active research topics\, forensics and biometric
s are both regarded as emerging technologies. Electroencephalogram (EEG)-b
ased biometrics have attracted increasing attention in recent years. EEG o
ffers advantages including robustness against attacks\, continuous identif
ication capability\, intrinsic liveness detection\, and universality. Vari
ous Deep learning Architectures are embedded in this workshop to built new
 frameworks.
