About Event
DESIGN OF CONVERTERS ON ELECTRIC VEHICLE
DESCRIPTION:
Why worrying about buying converter components for electric vehicles and trial testing them in real time , every now and then, when you have the comfort of simulating your circuits within seconds ? Gear up for "A whole new experience of virtually simulating the converters using MATLAB/Pspice"
SPEAKER :

》》SESSION 3 12.45 -2.45 pm
》》BREAK: 2.45-3.00 pm
》》SESSION 4 : 3:00 - 4.00pm
1)Introduction to converters
2)usage of pspice
3)basic and recent trend types of converters
4)Specific converter with its simulation
SESSION 1
In Electric Vehicle the role of converters plays a major role in Charging ,a basic Introduction about converters role in charging Electric Vehicle will be explained .
SESSION 2
Pspice is an advanced simulator software when compared to MATLAB
Its library ,file and components handiling will be explained detailedly.
SESSION 3
There are basic types of converters, those basic types of converters will be explained, furter Developed converters from these basic types of converters such as SEPIC ,CUK ,LEO converters which are recent trend right now will be taught.
SESSION 4
A specific recent trend converter will be taken and simulated in PSPICE software.
In EVs/HEVs step-up and step-down converters are combined into one unit.
An advantage of using a converter to increase voltage from the battery is a smaller and less expensive battery may be used while still utilizing an efficient high voltage motor.
