About Event
The Vellore Institute of Technology Chennai is organizing an online workshop on Research Trends in Photonics Devices and Its Applications from May 10th and 11th May 2021. The main objective of the workshop is to provide the recent developments in photonics and the future chances and challenges that they present.
Photonics innovations have a wide scope of recent and future applications including sensors, quantum computing, optical PCs, Photonics Crystal Fiber (PCF), Photonics devices on chip, and fabrication aspects of photonic crystal

On the basics of Photonics, Photonics Crystal Fibers, Silicon Waveguide, Sensors, Devices, fabrication aspects of Fibers
On Device modelling and simulation of Nano photonics using Lumerical
On Fabrication and Characterization technique
On developing skills to utilize equipment, software, etc. for better understanding of different phenomena and challenges of photonics technology through the interaction with experts and faculties.
