About Event

The Department of Civil Engineering, accredited by NBA, was started in the year 2002. The Department with an ICI students’ chapter has a distinctassociation with PWD, Highways Department, TWAD, SERC, CMRL, URC, Kesthana Infrastructures, Chennai Port Trust, Metro Water, L&T, Utracon Structural Systems and Langdonesaeah. The department regularly conducts national & international seminars, conferences, workshops, FDPs to keep the faculty and students updated on the trends and latest research areas in the field of Civil Engineering. Ever since its inception, the department has been providing induction and orientation on the opportunities available in various PSUs. This has paid rich dividends as may alumni have been well placed in prestigious PSUs.
A number of our brilliant students have successfully completed their research in IITs and in Universities abroad while a good number are exemplary entrepreneurs.
