About Event

Youth Run, under the umbrella of the annual techno-cultural festival, Synapse, is a 7 km run organized by DA- IICT, Gandhinagar. This year, Youth Run will be organized on 29th September 2019. The inspiration for the run is to provide the youth with an opportunity to voice their opinions on issues that are close to the society while keeping their health at the centre. Last year, the theme was #HumFitTohIndiaFit and was inaugurated by the Shri D.D. Kapadiya Sir - Secretary of Sports Authority Of Gujarat (SAG) and Mayor of Gandhinagar.

The driving force for the run is to provide the youth with an opportunity to voice their opinions on issues that are close to society while keeping their health at the centre. By showing their support for this event, the youth acknowledge the problems around them and take a step towards being a changemaker!
September is declared as Rashtriya Poshan Maah under the National Nutrition Mission. Inspired by that, the theme for Youth Run 2019 is #SahiPoshanSeDeshRoshan. Let us all join for social change and make this event bigger and better than ever! By participating, you also have a chance to win amazing prizes worth 60k!

We encourage all the DAIICT students and sports enthusiasts from nearby colleges to come and join us for this fun-filled initiative. It is not every day that you take an initiative to wake up early and do something for your health.
