About Event
On behalf of Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya, Haridwar, it’s been our pleasure to announce that our annual techno-cultural fest ‘Jnanagni’19 is going to be organized this year on April 15,16,and 17. On this glorious occasion, we would like to invite you to be a part of this festival.
If we see some of the statistics from previous years, they are:
- More than 10,000+ footfalls last year
- Celebrity presence of Bollywood actor, singer and writer Piyush Mishra and Punjabi singer Ninja
- More than 5000+ Likes on the official Facebook page of Jnanagni
Gurukula Kangri Vishwavidyalaya is one of the oldest running university in India. Established in 1902 by Swami Shradhhanand Ji with the sole aim to oppose the western education policy of Lord Macaulay and impart education in Vedic Literature and Indian Philosophy system. Since its inception, Gurukula has been blessed with the presence of stalwarts like Mahatma Gandhi, Jawaharlal Nehru, and many more.
‘Jnanagni’ as it implies ‘Fire of Wisdom’ – is one of the biggest techno-cultural fest amongst colleges in Uttarakhand. It is a platform where young talents from diverse regions come together to showcase their ability, learn and share their experiences with their peers. We aim to celebrate this festival of wisdom, joy and learning with greater enthuse. We are working very hard to make this festival most successful fest ever organized and we also want to share the same moment of glory with you by your active support and participation.
