The course was seeded to foresee budding data scientists who seek to own expertise in statistics, Data Visualization, Mathematics and Computer Science and train them to solve challenging data driven real world problems. Recent technological advancements have led to a deluge of data from distinctive domains which include health care, social network, financial
companies and smart cities over the past two decades. Big data is too big, moves too fast or doesn’t fit the structures of existing database architectures The aim of this programme is to train the scientist, faculty and research scholars about big data analytics domain and understand the research challenges and methods to resolve the complexity of big data
