About Event

BizTatva is a national level business fest organized by the Entrepreneurship Development Cell, St. Xavier's College (Autonomous), Kolkata which witnesses the participation of students from all over the country, planning, strategizing, formulating and pitching their ideas to survive and lead in the corporate world. From its inception, BizTatva has stood apart from the crowd of business events by conducting events on diverse fields such as crisis management, resource management, corporate strategy and meticulously designed to provide an enthralling experience to all participants. BizTatva'19 seeks to be bigger and better than the previous editions, while retaining its distinct elemnets. The 3 days promise a wide gamut of experiences, ranging from challenging simulation events, to inspiring speaker sessions.



E-Pocalypse, which is the theme for this year, is an ode to the unimaginable success entrepreneurs have had in this internet age. Through technology, these entrepreneurs, who simply had a vision for a product, have transformed the world as we know it. Apocalypse means 'disclosure of knowledge (in absolute terms) as well as 'destruction' (according to mythology). The E in the E-Pocalypse stands for Entrepreneurship as well as technology. The fact that people could start companies out of their garages and in a few years make it a multi-million dollar business is a testament to the fact that the entrepreneurship world is thriving and has been the revelation of this century. The ideas, aspirations, and determination of entrepreneurs unsuccessful and successful is taking over the world and we aspire to further foster this spirit with our events.
