About Event

Reconnaissance is an annual Civil engineering fest organized by the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE), PEC Chapter aimed at igniting the young minds about civil engineering through various technical and fun events. A number of events are organized during the fest spanning two days. The events present an excellent combination of technical expertise and the fun element and range from technical poster presentations to quizzes to domain-specific events like concreto and inquisition (a GPS based event).
‘Knowledge is power’. Team ASCE, PEC indeed recognises this fact. Thus, during the fest, a number of expert lectures on the various innovations and upcoming civil engineering technologies are organized, along with a number of workshops aimed at teaching the students about the highly useful softwares and techniques available in, or related to civil engineering.
During the past 3 years, Reconnaissance has witnessed an impressive participation from several colleges. This year too, it hopes to continue its success story, and inspire the young minds to come up with new ideas and innovations in the field in order to contribute their parts to the ultimate goal of society’s welfare and development.
