About Event

Zeitgeist is the annual cultural festival of IIT Ropar. Growing in status and scale every year, Zeitgeist is the reincarnation of the spirit that promises to give you experiences to be remembered beyond times. It promises to enthrall you and take you into a new trance. It promises to make you listen to the lilt in the trees again, to pay heed to the stagnant river of emotions inside you, to over pour the carafe of juices in you and to just have fun.

It is an association between the tangibles and the intangibles; an amalgamation between the imaginary and the truth and a stage for a plethora of talents. Listen to the mind and let the spirit take over you.

How to reach IIT Ropar, Rupnagar

The Institute is located at Ropar, the headquarters of Rupnagar district, Punjab. This institute, with its establishment, joins a string of premier educational institutions in Punjab. The town of Ropar, the district headquarters, is 42 kms from Chandigarh, the capital of Punjab. Rupnagar is well connected by both road (National highway NH-21) and railways (the Delhi-Ambala-Una railway line passes through Rupnagar). The nearest airport is in Chandigarh, about 50 kms from Rupnagar.Chandigarh International Airport is now shifted to Mohali permanently bringing airport connectivity near to the campus.
