About Event

MST dates back to 2007, when the event made a kick start with 700 participants and 20 teams from well reputed and prestigious institutes of India like IITs, NITs, BITS Pilani and DCE. The tournament has bred a sports culture in the institute and the essence of fest lies in sharpening the sports talent and creating a sports culture in technical institutions. The sporting activities have garnered full support of faculty and administration. With a participation of over 1100 students and more than 50 colleges last year in MST’16, we have renamed the erstwhile Malaviya Sports Tournament as Malaviya Sports Festival (MSF). MSF is proud of the fact that it is the only sports festival of the country, to develop a sports culture in the institute and to nurture a new generation of athletes striving to excel in their chosen games. The MSF 2017 strives for even higher goals where sky is the limit. It promises to bring new and exciting offers to everyone.
