About Event

In February 2017, XLRI Jamshedpur will witness the 4th edition of XLerate, which is the most happening, Irreverent and Iconoclastic National level Leadership, Cultural and Sports festival organized by PGDM (GM) students of XLRI, Jamshedpur.
Starting from 2014, XLerate has been aiming to serve as a connecting platform for all the students of 1 year MBA programs. Last year XLRI brought in a plethora of talent from the top B-Schools in India - IIM's, SP Jain, Great Lakes etc., competing in the leadership, cultural and sports events and walked away with lot of trophies, experiences and memories. This year the stakes and bars have been raised for the students to meet in this friendly battle field of XLerate 2017.
While, hundreds of participants compete in an array of events creating a stunning spectacle of exceptional fervidness in athletic talent; the event also witnesses the war of budding managers in case study competition. Embraced by one of the best gatherings of participants and spirited audience, XLerate has always enthused a zest for continuously scaling new zeniths in the pursuit of excellence and vibrancy among one and all.
Three fun filled days will boast colleges with pedigree like the foremost IIMs and ISB visit the sylvan campus in Jamshedpur and battle it out in a game of strength and wit. On the field and off it, this is a rendezvous point for relaxing and networking amidst the rigorous schedule of one year programs. Allied to on field events, case competitions and photography contests will keep the spirit high.

How to reach XLRI Xavier School of Management, Jamshedpur

The Railway Station at Jamshedpur is known as Tatanagar and is well connected by Trains from Alleppy, Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Guwahati, Kolkata (Howrah), Mumbai, Patna and Pune. The nearest airports to Jamshedpur are Kolkata and Ranchi. The Journey will take approximately 3.5 hours to 4 hours to reach Jamshedpur from Kolkata by train and 2.5 hours to 3 hours from Ranchi by road.

XLRI Campus is about 7 kms from the Tatanagar Railway Station and can safely be reached by auto - rickshaws or taxis round -the -clock at a reasonable charge of Rs. 120/- and Rs. 200/- respectively (approximate rates). XLRI is located near the Jubliee Park in the Circuit House Area (East). On reaching XLRI, the watchmen at the gate could be approached for any help to reach the MDP Guest House.
