Mecha Mavericks 2026

Mecha Mavericks 2026 is a premier school-level robotics championship hosted by BVM Global Bollineni Hillside Senior Secondary School, Chennai. Operating under the official theme "Forging the Future One Engineer at a Time," this technical symposium bridges the gap between theoretical classroom STEM concepts and real-world tactical engineering.
The symposium provides a high-octane competitive platform for young tech enthusiasts to collaborate, design, build, and test their custom hardware fabrications. The entire tournament is split into two distinct competition brackets—Junior Division (Grades 6 to 8) and Senior Division (Grades 9 to 12)—ensuring a fair, balanced, and highly competitive arena for all participating student teams.

1. Robo Mud Race
• Description: A brutal, high-endurance obstacle race that tests drivetrain ruggedness, chassis waterproofing, motor torque, and fast-paced manual driving skills.
• The Challenge: Bots must navigate a custom-built arena filled with unpredictable multi-surface tracks featuring wet mud, loose sand, gravel pits, and structural speed bumps.
2. Sumo Bot Championship
• Description: A classic head-to-head combat arena focused entirely on raw pushing power, vehicular friction-grip, and strategic defensive engineering.
• The Challenge: Two autonomous or remote-controlled bots face off with one clear tactical goal: push the opposing machine completely out of the white boundary line.
3. Innovation Contest
• Description: An open-ended project exhibition space designed to highlight technical creativity, electrical circuitry layout design, and smart problem-solving.
• The Challenge: Student teams pitch novel operational prototypes, unique 3D mechanical designs, or software-automated models directly to a panel of expert tech judges.
