Dramatic increase in population has ended up with increasing demand housing, industrial sites and energy. This growth is putting a strain on natural resources by spewing harmful pollutants from the infrastructures due to the lack of Sustainable
Architecture and Green Buildings in India. This workshop will address the humanitarian issues associated with sustainable buildings, low embodied energy building materials, new low cost
building materials, energy conservation and energy efficiency. Recent advances in science and technology provide new opportunities for buildings to interact with both internal and external environment. This workshop will induce knowledge about the novel material based solutions to sustainable green buildings through a holistic approach.
