About Event

IIST MUN is back with it's sixth edition, held on 9th and 10th of April, 2016. The heat has been turned up and the stakes have been doubled with 2 councils, for the first time in the history of IIST MUN. Consisting of the UNGA and the UNHRC, the event is bigger than ever before, with a prize money of 40k.
The agendas are as follows:
UNGA
1. Formulating guidelines to combat cyber and other forms of international espionage.
2. International cooperation for strengthening host countries in light of the refugee crisis.
UNHRC
1. Establishing guidelines to ensure the upholding of child rights in war-torn areas.
2. Protecting rights of individuals who have been granted political asylum.
