Amrita University, in association with Amrita Centre for Cyber security, is conducting a national level (Capture-The-Flag style style) computer security contest, InCTF, for students enrolled in an Indian university. This is the fifth edition of InCTF sponsored by VMWare, Fedora and MyCodeSchool. There is no registration fee to participate in the contest. Prizes for the top 3 places are upto Rs 25000, upto Rs 20000 and upto Rs 10000 respectively. Special Prize for top all-women team that qualify for final round. InCTF is beginner friendly. You dont need to know any security to begin with. You learn by participating ! So dont be afraid to register ! Registration is free. Gain valuable industry skills by participating. India has a severe shortage of cyber security professionals. For details visit InCTF.in now and register ! Timeline: The online registration is from 28th February to 13th March 2014. Once you complete the team registration, the student point of contact will receive the details of the first round. The first round is the learning round where the teams have the freedom to refer and find solutions to the questions. The skills gained will be tested in the second round. The second round will be held in March 2014. The teams shortlisted for the CTF (final) round need to be physically present onsite ( travel expenses will be reimbursed). The final round is the Capture The Flag (CTF) game. A team can consist of minimum 3 and maximum 5 members, all of whom must be from the same college/campus. Visit inctf.in and get started
