About Event

Sankalp (Feb 6th to 8th, 2015) Social convention is one of the many initiatives taken by the institute to inculcate the very habit of social service among the youth of the nation. It would host a plethora of events ranging from guest lectures by eminent personalities to competitions designed with the focus to create awareness among the masses. With our stimulating theme "Bridging Barriers: Educate Evolve Empower" this year, Sankalp 2015 aims to unshackle the rudimentary practices prevalent in the society by moving together in a united way. Education is the panacea for ending the epidemic of poverty, hunger, corruption and prejudices plaguing the country. We shall be focusing on bridging barriers between the learned and the underprivileged section of the society with the conviction to increase awareness levels and enhancing standards of living, leading to evolution of the society. As the society evolves, it gives more power to the people, handing over to them the responsibility for their betterment. We strive to use education as an efficacious tool to empower people and evolve the society as it was envisaged by our ancestors.
