ZEST – COEP’s Annual National Level Inter-Engineering Sports Meet gives the students a base to showcase their dexterity, talent and endurance. ZEST has emerged as one of the biggest and most awaited sports events for students. Its popularity is reflected from the immense support it has got over past 12 years with ZEST’14 attracting more than 10,000 athletes with over 150 colleges participating from around 11 states across the country including Maharashtra. In its 13 edition, ZEST has widened its horizons with the addition of 2 new special events. ZEST’15 will host 30 different sports events with both men and women participation. ZEST will continue to attract growing participation from all over the country making it nation’s one of the most successful Sports Fests.

Accommodation

Accommodation will be provided on ‘First Come First Serve’ basis only.  The students willing to avail the accommodation facilities must carry their College Identity Cards (Mandatory during Check in) along with 4 separate recent passport size photographs required for the ZEST I-card.  The accommodation charges per individual per day are Rs. 400/- only.  Each student will be provided with o 1 Bed-Pillow-Bed sheet-Blanket Set o Lunch and Dinner Every day (Feast on Sunday 25th Jan 2015)  Each room will be provided with o 1 Bucket-Mug o Lock and keys A refundable deposit of Rs. 200/- only will have to paid before the procurement of the room by every individual.  Discount schemes are available for those who are interested. On availing accommodation for all 4 days, charges of only Rs. 1200/- per individual will have to be paid instead of Rs. 1600/-. Also check the website for more exciting schemes and offers.  Available ways of payment for reservation of seats can be done by any one of the following a) Demand Draft b) Desk Registration  On-the-spot accommodation will be provided only if seats are available, so please contact the authorities before coming directly.  Check-In and Check-Out time will be followed strictly according to mentioned rules. Any student from outside college is not allowed to stay with any COEP hostel friend in their rooms during ZEST. Leading to any such misconduct a strict action will be taken against both students as well as their college team and may lead to disqualification of all teams of the respective college.  No misbehaviour will be forgiven in hostel campus, like smoking, drinking etc. If found then the student as well as all the teams from his/her college will be disqualified from the competition. (Misbehaviour and misconduct during event will not be tolerated and may even compel you to leave the hostel campus without any prior intimation or refund.)  The timing for meals are as follows: o Lunch (10:30 am – 1:00 pm) o Dinner (7:30 pm – 9:30 pm) Timings are to be followed strictly. No meal or refund will be given if meals are missed during these timings. If any problem persists, you must inform the authorities beforehand.  On 25th January (Sunday) FEAST will be given to all the students in the morning and dinner will not be provided in the evening. For rest of the days 2 meals will be made available (Morning and Evening).  Hostel Gates open at 5:00am and closes at 11:30pm (9:00pm for girls).
