Operacy is the Annual Management Inter Collegiate event that is conducted by the students of Kirloskar Institute of Advanced Management Studies. It also enables the interaction between the students and the industry connoisseurs, fuelling up the Successful journey of more than a decade, Operacy has metamorphosed from a paper writing competition to a national business festival where burgeon ing talents from all over India come together and experience the quintessential ambience of business learning, competence and excellence. Helios (Seminar): As the numerous helioseismic waves emit from the sun every second singing its praise we at KIAMS invite you to a seminar on solar energy, where numerous speakers from NGO’S and Industries will be speaking on the developments in solar energy. Topics to be covered are: 1) Realized projects and implementation experiences. 2) Challenges involved in solar energy. 3) Myths about Solar Energy. 4) Social, Political and economic policies and their successful implementation. Chasing the Sun (Exhibition): In our childhood, we learned about Hanuman who tried to eat the sun. At Harihar our little masters try the same as they chase the sun and exhibit for us different solar models. This is to show how our future can build a better tomorrow. Cash Prize. Rs.8000 at each Location. Recharging Rural (B-Plan): The sun shares its light equally with everyone, giving each living thing an opportunity to grow and flourish. Similarly, we at kiams conduct this b-plan competition for budding managers to bring forth their ideas and win big.

HOW TO REACH HARIHAR CAMPUS Harihar Township is situated very close (15 kms) to Davangere city of Karnataka state on Pune-Bangalore (Bengaluru) National Highway (NH-4). You can reach Harihar by road or rail from Pune, Mumbai,Miraj and major cities of Karnataka like Bangalore and Hubli. Harihar is 280 kms from Bangalore towards Pune on Bangalore-Pune National Highway (NH-4), and 135 kms from Hubli, 585 kms fom Pune and 785 kms from Mumbai on Pune-Bangalore National Highway (NH-4). FROM BANGALORE Private and State Transport buses run frequently from Bangalore to Harihar and Davangere. Well-known private bus operators are Mahesh Motors, Prasanna Tours, SHMS and Sharma Transports. You can also board a bus, which runs between Bangalore and Pune / Mumbai / Goa / Hubli / Belgaum, to reach Harihar. Bus takes 6 hours to reach Harihar from Bangalore. If you get down at Davangere, local buses and matadors can bring you to Harihar in half an hour. In 1995, the training institute was opened to managers all over the country. FROM PUNE Private buses between Pune and Bangalore stop at Harihar. Well-known private bus operators are VRL, Sharma Transports, Blue Lines and Prasanna Tours. Bus takes about 10 - 14 hours to reach Harihar. FROM MUMBAI Private buses which run, between Mumbai and Bangalore stop at Harihar.
