About Event

Aakar is a biennial national level technical fest of Civil Engineering Department of The National Institute of Engineering, Mysore to be held on 19th and 20th of September,2014. Aakar since its initiation in 2006 has grown as one of the largest Civil Engineering technical fests of India. Aakar aims to promote Civil Engineering in the country through various competitions, guest lectures and other technical events. Aakar besides offering students an insight into the potential of the Civil Engineering Industry, provides a launching platform for the training of budding Engineers to develop skills required by this industry.
