About Event

Ecofest is a National Level Symposium organised by the Energy and Environmental Engineering students of Tamil Nadu Agricultural University, Coimbatore since 2006. It attracts participants from various disciplines across the nation creating a platform to update their knowledge, skill and innovation towards encountering the growing energy and environmental issues. This co-curricular extravaganza provides a platform to exhibit and establish the organising skills of our students. Ecofest’14 with the theme “A new outlook for sustenance” is the 8th National level symposium with new innovative ideas. Ideal idea is a new event to bring out new solutions to industrial issues. The fest has various forerunners to create awareness among the public. It includes , distribution of reusable cloth bags to public, distribution of solar lanterns to rural school students, support for rural electrification, etc.
