About Event

MEMS and Sensors is a thriving area of research in India. In particular, this has been a successful interdisciplinary research programme at Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), one of the premier technology institutes in India. We are organising an International Conference on MEMS and Sensors (ICMEMSS 2014) in Chennai, India from 18 - 20 December, 2014. The main objective of this conference is to provide a forum for researchers to interact and exchange information about their activities in the area of MEMS and Sensors. Your participation is solicited to make this conference a great success. The conference will consist of plenary/invited talks by eminent researchers in the field. We also invite original technical papers in all areas pertaining to design, fabrication and applications of MEMS and sensors for oral and poster presentations. The emphasis of this conference is on applications and devices. The main topics to be covered, but not limited to, are: Design, Modelling and Simulation Applications of MEMS and Sensors : Processing and Fabrication RF MEMS Testing, Reliability and Packaging Optical MEMS Sensors and Actuators BioMEMS/Biosensors Emerging trends in NEMS and Nanosensors Microfluidics Selected presenters from the conference will be invited to submit papers for publication, after due review, in a special issue tentatively dated June 2015 of the International Journal of Advances in Engineering Sciences and Applied Mathematics. This is an IIT Madras J. launched in 2009 published by Springer http://www.springer.com/engineering/journal/12572
