About Event

In its endeavor to provide a platform to the youth to showcase their talents and skill sets in fierce competitions, display cutting edge technology and research from all over the country. Dextra strives for one and all to get inspired and look up to. The evergreen innovating spirit of the multitudes of students, that come from various parts of the state and JUET itself accompany us in promoting technology, scientific thinking and innovation. Dextra was initiated as a Technical fest of JUET in 2010 and since then it has been pinnacle of technical events in college. Since its beginning it has been reinventing the complete theme every year with addition of new people in attendance along with new events. Dextra 2010 started with events like SOLARMANIA and MAZEBOT and slowly evolved into Dextra 2012 which witnessed profound guest lecturer Prof. H.C. Verma addressing the students. Events lined up in various categories, as you can see for yourself, “DEXTRA-2014” will seek to keep you on your toes for as long as you are here. With events across departments like Electronics and Communication Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, and Robotics Club, there is something for every genius! Junkyard Wars offers you an opportunity to create magic out of the junk! Move into a race with your line following bots .Communicate your research to the audience in Techtalks and compete for random brainstorming problems at Techexplore. Dextra returns to enthrall one and all with not just commemorations of the latest achievements and developments in science and technology. Focused at promotion of futuristic and technical innovations aimed at promoting innovative mind-set to the students attending the college festival as well as the Robotics Club activities. Organization is a completely synced group of coordinators who work all around the year for crackling of electronic-circuits, a plethora of quizzes, debates and cultural events will be sure to keep you occupied. Dextra is entirely managed by students of JUET with a diversified team structure comprising of core robotics team ,publication team and publicity who work in harmony to formulate ,conduct and record the events successfully all round the year . Starting form year 2010 ISF the Technical Society of JUET has been organizing the annual Technical Festival DEXTRA. Last year DEXTRA 2013 was organized at national level and with a huge success, following the legacy. ISF is all set with DEXTRA 2014.
