About Event

The students of the National Institute of Technology Karnataka, Surathkal, organise an annual technical symposium, ENGINEER, in the campus, attracting over 6000 students from over 120 colleges and across 43 countries. This fest provides an opportunity to students from all around the country and abroad to show their technical talents, their passion towards science and technology, and compete with other students. With events that are of international standards, it attracts enormous participation from students, subject experts, corporates and eminent personalities from all over the world. Every edition of the fest has seen grow to include more events and reach out to greater number of people. Over 60 events, with competitions relating to every field of engineering, workshops on popular topics like Robotics and Ethical Hacking, have garnered wide participation and have been made a regular part of the fest. ENGINEER 2013, this year is scheduled to be held between 24th and 28th of October 2013.
