NEWS:- Department of Chemical Engineering, NIT Rourkela is celebrating 50 years of existence (1963-2013) as Golden Jubilee Year. INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON FRONTIERS IN CHEMICAL ENGINEERING(ICFCE-2013) Human civilization has had a roller coaster journey from the very inception of producing fire. Whether it is the separation of oxygen from air; separation of metals from ores; refining petroleum; be it a crusade to make safer environment for survival, every where the participation of a Chemical Engineer is unequivocal. The department of Chemical Engineering, which was established in the year of 1963 is celebrating golden jubilee in the current year. On the eve of our Golden Jubilee celebration, we congratulate all our alumni, former as well as existing faculty and staff members and our students. We would like to extend our warmth regards to the Chemical Engineering fraternity in the country and abroad. To mark this special occasion, we announce ICFCE-2013 as a part of our merriment. The conference will be held during December 9th and 11th, 2013. The present platform of ICFCE 2013 hereby initiates for an august gathering to exchange ideas and opinions about future paradigm of Chemical Engineers. Due to its inherent interdisciplinary nature, Chemical Engineering has engulfed several frontiers of science and technology in course of its enriching journey. It
