This conference is to discuss and promote 'Advanced Oxidation Processes(AOP 2013)' in the field of air, water, waste water, groundwater, potable water and Solid waste. AOP's are progressing rapidly all over the world as they have proved to be successful in meeting increasingly stringent global regulations as well as protecting public health and the environment. Thus AOP's are strong alternatives to conventional treatment techniques in many application for complete elimination of recalcitrant compounds in water and to improve the bio-degradation of waste water by' partial oxidation.

How to reach Thapar University, Patiala

Patiala is 260 kms from New Delhi and has a good network of buses and trains. There are direct trains between Patiala and New Delhi. Besides, there are number of trains (including Shatabdi Express) plying between New Delhi and Ambala Cantt. Patiala is 60 kms from Ambala Cantt. and well connected by road. The nearest airport is in Chandigarh, which is about 70 kms from Patiala and well connected by road.
