B-PLAN 2013 is the first state level intercollegiate Business Plan Competition organized by Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering, Shimoga under the banner of Entrepreneurship Development Cell (EDC). Business plan is the decision making tool for any business. A business plan represents all aspects of business planning process declaring vision and strategy alongside sub-plans to cover marketing, finance, operations, human resources as well as a legal plan, when required. A business plan is a summary of those disciplinary plans. EDC-JNNCE is established to promote entrepreneurship in the college as well as in the region. B-PLAN is the Business plan competition which is the flagship event of EDC-JNNCE. Since 2013 this event intends to attract more and more students in the state and nationwide. Business Plan competitions mean more than just competitions. These events will inspire more students turning out to start their own ventures and also students get a lot of networking through these events. Send the executive summary of the plan on or before may 7th. The shortlisted participants will be intimated later for presentation in JNNCE campus on may 11th.
