About Event

Catalyst is the Annual Technical fest of Department of Chemical Engineering,Deenbandhu Chhoturam University of Science & Technology. The first edition of this mega event is all set to launch on 22nd October,2013. This year,Catalyst's theme is-Reaching threshold,Creating manifold. This technical fest is set only to act as a trigger in the lives of every keen student associated. We aim in reaching thresholds by which we mean using maximum potential of every student through various exciting events and create beneficial innovations with which we define creating manifolds. Cash prizes worth more than 1 Lakh to be won!!! Workshops, organised by IIT Bombay, Sponsored by HRD Ministry.Certificates issued by HRd Ministry and IIT Bombay to participants Eco-design Contest - The fous Event of Catalyst. In this event, particpants have to design a eco-friendly battery+boat. Prizes worth INR 30000. DOC-challenge: Documentary making competition.Participants have to make a documentary on the theme-Sustainable life cycle Analysis.Documentary would be judged by Renowned Film-maker Sanjay Arora and top 5 documentaries would be screened on Catalyst. Cash Prizes worth INR 15000 INDUSTRIAL DESIGN PROBLEM: In this event, you will have to solve some challenging problems faced by industry to test your knowledge and skills.
