R. V. College of Engineering holds its head high as one of the top ten self-financing colleges in India. The Master of Computer Applications Department of RVCE was established in the year 1997 and is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belgaum. The department is a recognized VTU research center. The MCA course is a three year Post-Graduate program in Computer Applications. The MCA Program of RVCE has been approved by A.I.C.T.E, New Delhi. Appropriate training is provided to the students to equip themselves to be innovative and creative. The graduates of this discipline also possess adequate analytical, leadership and software skills. Students of our department are absorbed by reputed companies. The MCA department of RVCE maintains a high record of placements every academic year. In an attempt to expose our students to real world competition, the Department of MCA is planning to conduct the V National Level Inter-Collegiate Tech Fest Exceptions 2013 on 15th and 16th March, 2013.
