About Event

Abhikalpan , the youth festival of Faculty of Social Sciences, Banaras Hindu University is an annual 4-5 days carnival held amidst the heart of the Benaras city (BHU). BHU which claims to be the Asia's largest residential University and 2nd Ranked University. Being engrossed in the busy schedule of classes, tiring sessions of coaching and boring routine of hostels, the students get the opportunity to exhibit their expertise in the literary, fine arts, theatre, music and dance events. A blissful stage which gives every talent within the faculty the platform to get showcased in the form of colorful activities and competitions. Not only one would enjoy this but also remember the immortal events of celebrity professionals and social work which we are known for. FSS-BHU has given us a legend Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, known for his works in the field of music. We look forward for few more future legends by giving their talent a recognition.
